RIP glowies. Time to celebrate!

The drama for the past two weeks has been quite exhilarating to watch. I don’t usually care whatever non-happening “happening” is going down, because nothing ever seems to happen; but the dismantling of the CIA’s front organization “USAID” is of a particular personal interest to me considering in retrospect how the internet, public discourse, and culture spanning across the world for the past 15 years, if not more, was carved up and pillaged by their sponsorship and involvement.

To recall how nice things once were, only to then witness it all meticulously destroyed and twisted by an unfathomable hatred has brought me a great deal of distress. As unbothered and relaxed I may appear, I’m not immune. So many people, some I even once knew, swept up by dogma like fallen leaves caught in a cold wind are now left without any choice but to face reality and the consequence of their actions; but I won’t hold it over them and as a Christian I’m obligated to forgive them for the transgressions brought against me individually, but it’s not my place to forgive them for the evil they’ve waged against humanity; that’s between them and God.

I believe this is America’s falling Iron Curtain moment in history. It brings me great relief to know that era of regime is finally coming to an end. I don’t know what’s next to come, or if things will get better (in fact things are going to get rough), but for now I’m going to celebrate. The chilling effect is gone; I can now say whatever I want!

Let’s not forget what was done and what was lost.

The CIA knows how to deal with this, and it won't be an executive order and change of directors that will stop their attack on normal guys like you and me.
